New Photos

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

I’ve uploaded six new galleries of photos since the last post on here. Nothing particularly exciting. Some family shots from Christmas and New Year’s Day (which is also my Gran’s birthday, and my Dad’s birthday). Some shots from the Stockport Metro Open Meet, and a bunch of shots I took whilst playing with testing my shiny new Canon 400D.

Back in a Tracksuit!

Saturday, October 13th, 2007

After a two month hiatus from running, I started back in anger a couple of weeks ago, and now, 7 runs later I’m starting to get back into the groove properly. I’ve just done my first sub 15min 3k - woo! Now I just need to get it back down to approaching my PB of 13:33!

Explorer Summer Camp - London 07

Monday, August 6th, 2007

Just back from Marple Explorer’s Summer Camp in London. I’ve had to come back a couple of days early, so I missed the Brewery Tour, the day trip to Brighton and the visit to London Zoo. But I was there for the day visit to the 21st World Scout Jamboree, the Monopoly run, and various other activities.

As usual, there are a few hundred photos, and so without any further ado;

Scouting’s Sunrise

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

Today 1st Marple Scout group held it’s own Scouting Sunrise event at Mellor Cross, overlooking Marple. 50 or so Scouts, Explorers, Networkers and Leaders all got up at 3am to walk up to the Cross. We held a short Scouts Own, invested 6 new Scouts, and saw in the Sunrise.

Site Update

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

Quick note, I’ve changed the theme on the site as the old one was a bit “heavy”, and caused rendering issues in some browsers.

This one is much “lighter” and also gave me the opportunity to hack on it a bit to make it “Widget” compatable.
