The Black Rock Sands Test Match

Tuesday saw the commencement of the 1st Black Rock Sands Test. Despite frequent interruptions for rain, and a slightly “sandy” wicket a goodly number of overs were bowled before we “lost the light”.

Glasfryn Parc Grand Prix

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Monday saw the Explorers competing in the Glasfryn GP. Mildly inclement weather saw the players opt for “Wets” and a “zero stop” strategy. Dan proved to be a master of the wet conditions driving a flawless race, leading from start to finish. Dobby had trouble staying on the track whilst Greavy suffered the wrath of the race officials, serving a “stop go” penalty for his overly aggressive tactics.
