“it’s worse than shite”
Tuesday saw the commencement of the 1st Black Rock Sands Test. Despite frequent interruptions for rain, and a slightly “sandy” wicket a goodly number of overs were bowled before we “lost the light”.
Monday saw the Explorers competing in the Glasfryn GP. Mildly inclement weather saw the players opt for “Wets” and a “zero stop” strategy. Dan proved to be a master of the wet conditions driving a flawless race, leading from start to finish. Dobby had trouble staying on the track whilst Greavy suffered the wrath of the race officials, serving a “stop go” penalty for his overly aggressive tactics.
Just in case you were in any doubt, we can confirm that the sea off the North Wales coast is indeed fucking freezing, even at the height of summer. Video from dip to follow.
